Dakin Partners is a leading provider of Career Transition & Outplacement Services with 38 years’ experience and outstanding success helping thousands of departing or redeployed employees across Private, Not-for-profit and Government sectors Australia wide.
As experienced Career Management Consultants our role is to support participants in coping with change and managing their health & wellbeing, enabling them to remain resilient throughout their career transition program and job search.
Our programs also assist client organisations navigate their way through the complexities of restructuring, planning for redundancies and ‘on-the-day’ support for departing and retained employees.
While a delicate time for organisations and employees alike, experience shows that when handled in a positive, well-structured and sensitive manner these periods of change and transition can ensure organisations remain an ‘Employer of Choice’ and their employees remain resilient and confident.
We tailor flexible programs to best suit the organisations budget and the individual’s needs and career aspirations. A designated Senior Consultant will guide the participant throughout their program spending much of the time in ‘one-on-one’ discussions either face-to-face or online.
With a strong emphasis on the individual’s mental health and wellbeing the program includes; evaluating the participant’s transferable skills, defining their career objective, preparation and reformatting of resumes, applications and cover letters, professional networking & marketing strategies, job applications, interview techniques, social media and self-employment initiatives.
OUR FACILITIES
Participants can choose to complete their CareerConnect Program online through our Dakin Partners Career Transition portal or at our Melbourne CBD offices located at M2, Rialto North Tower, 525 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.
The building has excellent public transport options which, together with nearby car parking facilities, ensures convenient access for CareerConnect participants travelling from all areas of metropolitan Melbourne as well as regional centres.
You will be welcomed into our friendly environment with dedicated offices and resources. A colour printer, scanner and photocopier is available and we offer wireless internet access for your own laptop and iPhone usage. Tea and coffee are available in our kitchen area and you are welcome to help yourself at any time.
Office hours for participants are between 9:00am and 5:00pm.

Privacy is very important to us at Dakin Partners. Our Privacy Policy adheres to all requirements for HR Consulting businesses under Federal and State Laws.
Be assured that any sensitive matters you discuss with your Consultant, such as difficult issues or events in your recent employment which may still be unresolved, will remain confidential.
While we are obliged to report back to your past employer that you are participating in the program, this is done in general terms only.
Starting your program
You may notice that some menu options available in this website require a login. These protected pages host the various Modules and Resources included in our CareerConnect Program.
Participants will be required to login at the beginning of each day in order to access the program material.
All participants will receive a welcome email detailing how to use the Portal upon commencement. If you have not received this email or are not yet signed up to the program please contact Dakin Partners to arrange your login details.
