As experienced Career Management Consultants our role is to support you, offering strategic advice and guidance ensuring your time and energy during the transition period is spent productively. Your consultant will guide you through the program spending much of the time in ‘one-on-one’ discussions.
During your program you will find a strong emphasis is placed on developing the networking skills essential to engage successfully with the ‘hidden job market,’ as well as the need to build ‘career resilience’ into the future, whether it lies in permanent or contract employment, consulting, self-employment or a ‘portfolio career.’
To help familiarise you with how we operate, the following outlines the services available throughout your program with Dakin Partners, and answers some frequently asked questions.
How does my Program work?
Your former employer has paid for your CareerConnect Program. Our consultants will work with you using a comprehensive manual, which is modular in format and online material, as a guide throughout your program.
The duration of your program will be discussed at the initial meeting so that you and your consultant can agree on a suitable schedule for future appointments. Please let us know of any family commitments or holiday plans at this time, so they may be accommodated.
Participants generally schedule one or two sessions per week to work with their consultant and make use of our office facilities, in addition to regular phone and email contact.
Health & Wellbeing
The health and wellbeing of CareerConnect participants is our top priority.
Our program aims to assist participants to successfully navigate through the emotional journey of redundancy and find positive outcomes in negative situations.
Whilst our consultants are not trained psychologists, they will assist you with your self-reflection and decision making processes.
For those interested in health and wellbeing support beyond what is provided in our program, sessions with a Dakin Partners affiliated psychology professional can be arranged.

How to access our program?
Participants can choose to complete their CareerConnect Program online through our Dakin Partners Career Transition portal or at our Melbourne CBD offices located at M2, Rialto North Tower, 525 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.
The building has excellent public transport options which, together with nearby car parking facilities, ensures convenient access for CareerConnect participants travelling from all areas of metropolitan Melbourne as well as regional centres.
Office hours for participants are between 9:00am and 5:00pm.

You will be welcomed into our friendly environment with dedicated offices and resources. A colour printer, scanner and photocopier is available and we offer wireless internet access for your own laptop and iPhone usage. Tea and coffee are available in our kitchen area and you are welcome to help yourself at any time.
Starting your online program
You may notice that some menu options available in this website require a login. These protected pages host the various modules included in our CareerConnect Program. Participants will be required to login at the beginning of each new day in order to access the modules and resources within the CareerConnect Portal.
All participants will will receive a welcome email detailing how to use the Portal upon commencement. If you have not received this email or are not yet signed up to the program please contact Dakin Partners to arrange your login details.
You can access your User Account and update your details by clicking the below button. This page can also be accessed through the menu option USER LOGIN located on the far right of the above menu.
